Breast Mates can only exist with the support of many other organisations, some are household names, some maybe not so familiar and some you’ll have not heard of before.
It is only through their (and your) generosity that Breast Mates Cancer Support Group can exist.
We would like to thank the many individuals and organisations who have supported us. We have been amazed at the generosity, kindness and goodwill of those who share their time, expertise, skills and energy supporting our cause.
One of the biggest donations we have ever been awarded was in late 2025 from the National Lottery Community Fund. As a registered charity Breast Mates Cancer Support Group has benefitted in the past from smaller donations but last year’s £20,000 donation was an absolutely fantastic award. Thank you National Lottery!

People’s Postcode Lottery. Breast Mates Cancer Support Group is a registered charity and in the same catchment area for the “Millionaire Street” win in September. Because of this we were lucky enough to be awarded £20,000! An absolutely fantastic amount of money which will go a long way to supporting our members.
Another generous support of Breast Mates is a local company, Want That Dress. They organised a fashion show, with some of the our members taking part as models. Want That Dress donated 70% of the money generated by ticket sales to Breast Mates; the remainder being donated to the Prescot Parish Church roof renovation fund. What a fabulous gesture.

Debbie Bennett, Funeral Directors is a regular and generous donator to Breast Mates. The money donated goes towards funding our regular Tuesday “Walk & Talk” group which allows our members to get together, have a chat and, just as important, take a stroll together to improve their fitness and wellbeing.
Google are another supporter of Breast Mates. They provide, free of charge, their corporate GMAIL email system to us along with access to many of their productivity systems.

It is with the generosity of all our supporters that Breast Mates can do what it does best:
Support people with a breast cancer diagnosis.
